South Brisbane Skateboarding serves the purpose of providing a base of south brisbane skateboarding culture from which great wonderful things shall grow.
Given the relative smallness of brisbane compared to Melbourne and Sydney in population and skate/art culture development, SBSB4101 offers a banner with which local skaters, artists and skateboard/art enthusiasts can identify with and rally under.
With slow organic growth and dedicated enthusiastic effort, it shall hopefully also provide a cultural shelter and eventually physical meeting place to maintain a strong 4101 counter-culture amidst the towering highrises being erected all around.
It shall be a beacon of hope and encouragement for people to pursue their dreams, do what they love, chase what it is that makes them come alive.
Of course also a reminder to ALWAYS SKATE!
